The Medical Education Unit or Department (MEU) as established in compliance
with the terms of reference established by the NMC is responsible for enabling and
facilitating the faculty in the delivery of the curriculum.

The roles of the MEU in the context of the curricular process include the following:

a. Provides faculty education and support
b. Helps develop teaching and assessment methods and trains faculty for each
c. May be involved in program evaluation and quality improvement of the
curriculum
d. Liaises with the Regional / Nodal centres of the NMC
